Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account data: email address and, for organizers, organization name and branding.
• Purchase data: buyer email, order and ticket records, and any attendee fields the organizer configured.
• Payment data: processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers.
• Usage data: basic logs needed to operate and secure the service, plus ticket scan records.

How we use it

• To create accounts, deliver tickets, and provide the ticket wallet.
• To let organizers manage attendees, check-in, and reporting for their own events.
• To process payments, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations.
• To send transactional email such as magic links, receipts, and ticket delivery.

Organizers and shared responsibility

When you buy a ticket, the event organizer receives your purchase details and any attendee fields they requested. The organizer is an independent controller of that data and applies their own privacy practices. TixSimple provides the platform and the access controls around it.

Service providers

• Stripe — payments, payouts, and connected organizer accounts.
• Supabase-backed cloud infrastructure — database, authentication, storage, and serverless functions.
• AI providers — used only for the optional AI event setup and voice transcription features.

Access controls

Data is stored in a managed database with row-level security so organizers can only read their own records and buyers can only read their own tickets. Traffic is encrypted in transit with HTTPS. Ticket QR codes are hidden once a ticket is used.

Retention

We keep order and ticket records for as long as the organizer's account is active and as needed for accounting, tax, and dispute resolution. You can request deletion of your buyer account data at any time.

Cookies and local storage

We use browser storage for sign-in sessions and for saving in-progress event drafts. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.

Your choices

To access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, email privacy@tixsimple.com. For attendee data held by an organizer, contact that organizer directly; we will help route the request.

Children

TixSimple is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
