Accessibility Statement
Last updated July 27, 2026
Our commitment
TixSimple aims to make buying and managing tickets usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, or magnification. We work toward conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
What we do today
- Semantic HTML with landmarks and a single main heading per page.
- Keyboard-operable navigation, forms, dialogs, and menus with visible focus indicators.
- Accessible names on icon-only buttons and labels on form fields.
- Color contrast targets met through our design tokens, with color never used as the only signal.
- Responsive layouts and tap targets sized for mobile use of the ticket wallet.
- Alt text on meaningful images; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
Known limitations
Some organizer-supplied content — event descriptions, cover images, and uploaded site maps — is outside our direct control. Interactive site maps may be difficult to use with a screen reader; we provide text alternatives where possible and are improving this area.
Guidance for organizers
- Write descriptive event titles and clear, plain-language descriptions.
- Avoid putting essential details only inside images.
- Describe accessibility features of your venue in the event description.
